Diary Entry 10   Leaches Day 10 – Another very early start – with leaches!   Does everyone know what 3am looks like on a Monday morning? We all do! We are growing accustomed to the early starts – well some of us. Another shoot in the Galston Gorge. It was about 25 degrees by about 9:30am, with the temperature gradually rising, as the actors continued throwing themselves down rocks, into the water, and being buried in the grass! Leaches became everyone’s new best friend, although the relationship was a bit one sided!   Our young director, Ben Richardson, found out what it was like to be stabbed, buried and thrown into the Gorge. The scary thing is, I think he liked it! But he was always a bit crazy. Ben has been doing mad stunt work for ages. Broken limbs aren’t enough to keep a good boy down.   Onward to the next location, a Pharmacy, which seems quite fitting considering their earlier experience. Energy started to lack in the day, as the shoot started at 8pm, they had been up since 3am! Apparently wrap up was around 11pm, and they just barely fit it all in. No rest for the wicked, who needs sleep anyway!   Catherine Neasbey – Producer.
