Diary Entry 3

School

Wednesday 3rd October

Day 3

Location: Patrician Brother’s College, Fairfield.

We started the day off with my main scene! Ally being summoned to the Principal’s office. Oooooh, bad girl, I wonder what she did???
It was a challenge to film in the room we had chosen because it really didn’t have enough space to fit everyone in it! There was a lot of crouching involved, legs going every which way, the air getting stuffy, and the extra lights making the make up come straight off us actors! After a lot of repositioning of the camera for different shots, we had finished my big scene! How exciting!
Chester Ferro played a student going out with Ally’s best friend Brittany (Morgana Davies.) He was excellent, with his basketball bouncing skills, however I was NOT impressed when he improvised a line to me & called Principal Cavanagh a “fat cow.”
NO WONDER HE WAS IN THE PRINCIPAL’S OFFICE!!! Cavanagh says detention for him for a week!!!

After all the office scenes were done, it was time to head over to the school hall for Sarah’s singing performance! (Played by Kayla Bonnici) The cool, darkened hall was a nice escape from the blistering sun outside, and it was breathtaking listening to little Kayla sing her song and watching her dance up on stage.

The School – another perspective

The day was hot, and involved a fair bit of running, being part of the crew to get equipment, etc. But day 3 was different, Ben (our Director) had told me before leaving for home on day 2 to bring a white shirt because he had a great idea to add me in a scene, a genius he is! He’s such a nice boy!
I was the first out of the crew to arrive. Ryan, Kate and Tim were out of sight and running late thus I was told I’ll be setting up everything and working with the camera lol yeahhh right I don’t wanna work that hard! At least I had help from Mikey, he’s such a ladies man! For all you ladies out there, Mikey’s got a beard. Is that hot or what?!

Anyway, luckily I was saved, the crew arrived and it was time to rehearse. The scene was then set with me in the Principal’s office being punished with a ruler on my backside, (such a bad boy I am =P.) I continued to cry and moan which is what bad boys do J
It didn’t help when I called Principal Cavanagh names like ‘F*t Cow’ and taunted her with a sexy dance, it only made things worse.

Without giving too much away, the scene involved a basketball, two girls and great skills J

Am I cool or what?
